AI consulting, AI agents and custom MCP servers

Practical AI consulting for small businesses. Chat tools are handy on their own, but they get a lot more useful when they can see your CRM, your documents and your reports. We build AI agents and Model Context Protocol servers that connect AI to your systems with the access controls you'd expect.

What an MCP server does

Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT use outside tools. An MCP server sits between the AI and one of your systems and spells out exactly what the AI may read or change. Ask “which customers are up for renewal next month?” and the AI goes and checks, instead of guessing.

Custom MCP servers

Most of the MCP servers we build connect to CRMs and reporting tools, though databases and internal apps work too. We've built them for Zoho CRM and Zoho Analytics, so staff can ask questions of live business data in plain English and get answers with the numbers behind them. They can be read-only or allow specific actions, and they run on infrastructure you control.

  • Read-only or scoped write access
  • Per-user authentication
  • Activity logging
  • Hosting on your own cloud account

AI agents

An agent is an AI set up for one specific job. Answer staff questions from your contracts and policies. Sort new leads and draft the first reply. Summarize a customer's history before a call. Look up a part or a model number. We build them in tools like Claude and Zoho Zia Agents, and keep a person in the loop for anything that matters.

Workflow automation

Plenty of busywork doesn't need AI at all. We'll look at where your team's hours go and automate what we can with plain workflows, then add AI only where it saves time.

Training your team

Hands-on sessions on using AI tools well: how to ask, how to check the answer, what not to paste in, and where it's genuinely useful in your day. Our founder has led a lot of teams through changes in how they work, and the training matters as much as the tool.

Where AI fits and where it doesn't

AI is good at reading a lot quickly, summarizing, drafting, searching, and turning a plain-English question into a database query. It's a useful first pass on almost anything involving text.

It's not good at being the final word on money, legal commitments or anything a customer will hold you to. It can be confidently wrong. So we design agents to show their sources, hand off to a person when they're unsure, and stay out of decisions that need human judgment.

Common questions

Is it safe to connect AI to our CRM?

It can be, if it's set up carefully. We give the AI the least access it needs, start read-only, keep credentials out of prompts, and log what it does. You decide which actions it's allowed to take, and anything involving money or a customer commitment goes to a person first.

What AI tools work with MCP?

Claude was first, and ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and a growing list of other tools now support MCP too. Because it's an open standard, one MCP server can work with several AI tools, so you aren't locked into a single vendor.

Do we need to train our own AI model?

Almost never. Today's models are already good at reading, writing and reasoning. What they're missing is access to your information, and that's the problem MCP servers and well-built agents solve.

What if AI isn't the right answer?

Then we'll say so. A lot of busywork is better handled by a plain workflow or a short script that costs nothing to run and never makes things up.

Tell us what's going on.

A few sentences is plenty. What does the business do, what's getting in the way, and what would you fix first if you could? A real person will write back with questions or a next step, usually within a business day.
